Most engagements start where a client’s own capability has run out — crews needing a type no local school teaches, engineers who can watch the work but not sign it, or a programme that needs an aircraft on line next month rather than next year.
Aviation training

Who we are
Altum Solutions Ltd is an aviation training, maintenance training and leasing company registered in Mauritius, working since 2016 with governments, protected-area authorities, humanitarian agencies and energy operators.
We work where aviation is hardest to sustain: unsurfaced strips, no reliable fuel or spares, and regulators with limited capacity. The measure is whether the client still has the capability after we leave — crews current on type, engineers signing their own work, aircraft flying in year three.
We are small by design. Clients deal directly with the instructors and engineers doing the work, and those people have done it before in comparable conditions.
That also sets our limits. We turn down work we cannot staff properly, and we say so early rather than late.
Where we work
Delivery to date has been concentrated in East and West Africa, with teams deployable across the continent and into the Middle East.
We plan, crew and price for limited infrastructure — unsurfaced strips, no lighting, no met, no resupply — rather than discovering it on arrival. That assumption is built into every training syllabus and every lease we write.
